MedFidae - Seniors is an Alabama nonprofit corporation building free, accessible medication-safety education for older adults and caregivers.
MedFidae - Seniors was formed as an Alabama nonprofit corporation on September 28, 2026. The organization has obtained an Employer Identification Number and is establishing its initial Board, governance policies, banking, and federal tax-exemption application.
Federal recognition under Section 501(c)(3) is pending. Contributions are not currently being requested or represented as tax deductible.
Help older adults and caregivers use medicines more safely, communicate confidently with healthcare professionals, and preserve independence through free, practical, plain-language education.

Gene Nicholas “Nick” Anderson, PharmD, is the founder and initial director. He is a licensed pharmacist in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee and previously held the BCGP credential; the certification lapsed.
